Good evening friends!
I am so excited for this video. I filmed it once originally, but there was a malfunction :(
Thanks for sticking with me.
Michael Jackson is such an inspiration to me and to the world. Not only was he a great dancer, singer and performer, he also pioneered techniques used in makeup, fashion, film and concert production.
In the music video, Michael is wearing a cobalt blue shirt, so I decided to do an awesome electric blue winged liner. Also, his female costar is not wearing much makeup so I wanted to make this a 'natural' wearable makeup for you all. I so hope you all enjoy this. These are my favorite types of videos to make.
Any requests are welcome as always.

Tips Ahoy!
Ahoy maties! Skin care and makeup tips on the port bow! Savvy?
He he. My love for Jack Sparrow is a bit re-donk-ulous :)
Anyway! I have a new video all about beautiful, natural looking skin. This video has loads of information and is chalk full of tips for all ages!
For beautiful makeup, it is imperative that one starts with a beautiful base; your skin!
As we get older, our cellular turn over, the rate that we produce cells, slows down. Taking care of your skin is so important to stay looking young and beautiful as long as we can, because, lets face it (no pun intended) no one wants wrinkles.
Taking care of your skin starts with three easy steps that take about 3 minutes; cleansing, exfoliating, and moisturizing. If you wear makeup, you need to take all your makeup off first (most facial cleansers are not formulated to be 'potent' enough to jack hammer through your makeup, so using something to dissolve the pigments you put on your face is the way to go).
1) Cleansing- using a cleanser (after removing your makeup if you wear it) does two things, it loosens dead skin and debris, like dirt and excess oil on your face so your exfoliant can sweep it away. It also is the first step in preparing your skin to accept your moisturizer.
2) Exfoliating- either using a chemical, like salicylic acid, or a cream that has the gritty particles in it, or both depending on your skin type, use this to remove everything your cleanser loosened. Exfoliating is also the second step in preparing your skin for your moisturizer.
3) Moisturizing- This is the most important step, but without prepping your skin, you could be wasting your moisturizer! If your skin is not prepped correctly your moisturizer cant seep into your skin to nourish your cells; it just sits on top.
*Test* cleanse and exfoliate the top of one hand, and leave the other alone. Put moisturizer on top of both. See and feel the difference. The one you prepped should feel supple. but not slippery. On the other hand, you can still feel the slipperyness of your un-sepped-in moisturizer. Yuck!
****SPF**** Sun protection is so important! UVA and UVB rays are a major factor for skin problems, mainly causing the first signs of aging, making wrinkles worse, causing discoloration or sun spots and even dryness! The sun emits mostly UVB rays, which just penetrates the epidermis, or top layer of skin. But a tanning bed emits mostly UVA rays, which penetrate all the way underneath the epidermis, causing you to age under your skin and slow cell turnover! Please use SPF every day, all day!
After you moisturize, your skin is perfectly prepped for added serums and creams (always go thinnest to thickest). Its also perfect to apply makeup :)

Makeup Tips to Naturally Look Your Best!
1) To add a youthful glow, skip a mattefying foundation.
2) Use matte shadows on the lid. The older you are, try to avoid glittery, or extra shimmery products, as they tend to settle into lines.
3) Nudes make you look younger.
4) Navy eyeliner and mascara makes your eyes appear whiter and brighter.
5) Curl your lashes for an open eyed look.
6) Keep the highlighting to a minimum; a little goes a long way and makes a world of difference.
7) Filling in your brows can take years off your face. Go for a true neutral color, one that is a bit ashy in appearance. If you use a color thats too warm in tone, it makes your brows look 'funky'. Also, if you're blonde go two shades darker than your hair color, if you're brunette, go two shade lighter than your hair. If you're a red head, try to stay away from reds, though the temptation may be great, go for a medium brown ;)
8) Pink blushes make your face look naturally flushed. Go matte on this as well.
9) Just like pink blush, pink lipstick and/or gloss makes you look even fresher and younger!

Be a Beauty Know-It-All!
Hello lovers of all things makeup!
To be the helpful 'guru' I am, I thought I'd make a post about some weird makeup tricks, tips and problem solvers I use to keep my look and makeup in tip-top shape.
Let the weirdness begin!
#1 Coke in the Dried-Up Mascara Trick.
Now, this is one of the bizarre tricks I learned and it concerns a certain bubbly beverage. If you take a *BRAND NEW* can/bottle of cola (Pepsi, Coke, Dr. Pepper, something caramel-y in color...I use Coke) and take a drop or two, that's all you need, up in a straw and drop it into your old clumpy mascara...viola! The syrup in the beverage re-activates the 'binding' material in your mascara to revitalize your old wink machine.
*I have also tried this with some liquid liners; works fine and dandy.
#2 Need to Harden Wet Nail Polish in a Jiffy?
Dip your nails in ice water, if you can stand it! The cold water makes the molecules slow down and change into a more crystal-like state, making your polish set faster. Yay chemistry!
Do 3 sets of 10 second reps and call me in the morning. ;)
#3 Face+Lemon= Gorgeous Skin!
Watch this from my favorite guru, Kandee Johnson!

#4 Multipurpose Products!
Don't rush out and buy every product for every job nor do you have to use 37 products on your face everyday. Multitask! Most products for the face can be used anywhere on the face, even though they're marketed towards certain areas. Halloween is a perfect time to take advantage of this. If you have a gorgeous pink lipstick and want a blush to match, you can use your lipstick on your cheeks. WHAT?! Yeah! Just dab a bit on the apples, or where ever you want it, and blend. Ta da! Same goes for liners. Want a black lip for Halloween, or just cause your cool like that (holla for the black lip, Jessie J) use a black eyeliner. Line the lips and fill them in. Want a matte finish, tap your lips with matte black eye shadow, or for glossy top with gloss. Get the point? Good, let's dance.
#5 Whiter Teeth
Ok this isn't weird, but I am seriously in love with this product! Plus White 5 Minute Whitening Gel gets the job done on my teeth and it's beyond super easy to use. The system comes with a squishy tray, the gel and a rinse for tartar control and it's about $11 at Walgreens. I, however, do not follow the instructions in the box. I squeeze some on my finger and push it into the crevasses of my teeth all over then bite the tray, instead of filling the tray; you save so much product. I also use it in the shower; a perfect time you don't need to talk or use your teeth at all. Added bonus: you can spit out the foam when it fills your mouth and makes your tongue tingle-y.
There are so many more tips and I will eventually share all my knowledge, but now it's time for beddy bye.
Goodnight and dream sweetly my loves!
fluffy sheep...MissAubrey
